BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Don't you hate it when your phone dies in the middle of the day? In reality, your phone's battery life should last you at least all day long depending on usage. If your battery is diminishing quickly or is shutting off at high percentages you likely have a bad battery.

Why does a battery "go bad"? Lithium batteries degrade over time, even though you may have bought your iPhone recently it most likely has been sitting at a factory or in a store and will degrade during this time, while not in use. However most of the time bad batteries are due to physical damage like drops or just age.

Not quite sure if you need a battery replaced? Here's something you can do...

Check your battery health in settings, apple says anything below 80% needs servicing. However, you may notice degrading battery life at anything below 90%.

How can you get the most out of your battery?

Here's some tips!

*Only use apple brand chargers. We know they can be pricey! But they last longer and are better for your phone. Aftermarket chargers can fry your charge port, battery, and in some cases even your logic board the brain of your phone.

*Don't use iPad chargers on your iPhone. We know its tempting because it charges so much faster! But iPad chargers are meant to charge a much larger battery with a bigger capacity than an iPhone.

*Put your iPhone in a shock-absorbent case so the impact on the battery isn't as hard when you drop your phone.

*Don't use car chargers unless you have to. You may be on a road trip or using GPS and need to use a car charger so we recommend name-brand chargers and use it as little as possible.

*Turning off your background app refresh in settings will help you conserve battery life.
